The WLP programme is the professional emancipation of women by women.
The mission of Women Leadership Paris is to encourage women to move towards impactful entrepreneurship by offering them a wide range of support, through programs and resources, and assist them in the implementation of their projects.
Women Leadership Paris support, organize and co-organize activities that aim to promote the emancipation of women through entrepreneurship and technology, thinking of new ways to support women entrepreneurs.
We promote diversity in all its forms in entrepreneurship, social and cooperative economy. We develop awareness-raising education through training, entrepreneurship, think tank with events in France and the European Union, and abroad. Also, calls for projects, conferences, pitches, facilitating access to funding and all other similar actions.
We connect women entrepreneurs to financial contacts for advice, and potential funding. The supported projects must respond to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and global challenges listed by the United Nations.
Background
Bearing in mind that in 2019 women are still confronted with wage inequalities, alleged lack of skills, as well as discrimination in the company’s hiring process, the first afterwork ‘Woman Entrepreneurship’ started on 17th January 2019 in Paris. The community already accounts for more than 1,000 enthusiastic members, inspiring women with diverse and varied backgrounds.

Whether you are an active or aspiring entrepreneur, here you will find a framework of trust that promotes the values of mutual aid, exchange, kindness, and curiosity for others.
The Women Leadership Paris community also has a mission to change the social status of women, by encouraging them to move towards entrepreneurship, and regain control of their professional and social growth. By becoming your own boss, you will be able to decide for your future without limitation. Women must learn to break through the glass ceiling in order to be able to emancipate themselves.
Becoming a member, or starting a chapter in your country, means connecting with an active support network for your professional development through leadership and mentoring programs.
